A very good core-plus-four-serogroup leptospirosis vaccine with high-titre live core antigens. Keep the puppy series running to 16 weeks or later and boost Leptospira yearly where exposure continues.

Important safety and use flags

  • Do not use in pregnant bitches. Vaccinate only healthy dogs aged 6 weeks or more.
  • Anaphylactoid reactions can occur. Keep epinephrine and supportive treatment ready and observe the dog after vaccination.
  • Maternal antibody can block the puppy response: continue boosters every 2-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age or later.
  • Leptospiral protection is serogroup-specific and lasts about one year; it does not cover Australis. The label does not establish the need for annual core boosters, so follow WSAVA intervals for core antigens.
  • Do not mix with other products except the supplied diluent component; decide timing with other medicines case by case.
  • Store at 2-8 C, do not freeze and use the whole reconstituted dose immediately.
