Reconstitute the lyophilisate with the full suspension component and inject the entire 1 ml dose subcutaneously. Give two primary doses four weeks apart from seven weeks of age. If high maternally derived antibody levels are expected and the primary course finishes before 16 weeks, give a third dose after 16 weeks of age and at least three weeks after the second dose. Give the first booster 12 months after the primary course, then every two years; in areas of high leptospirosis risk a six-month leptospirosis booster is recommended. Vaccinate only completely healthy dogs; deworm at least 10 days beforehand. Mild immediate pruritus or pain and transient swelling up to 4 cm for 1-4 days may occur; a small transient aluminium-related nodule can occur. Exceptional hypersensitivity requires symptomatic treatment. May be used during pregnancy. Decide use with other veterinary medicines case by case. Use sterile equipment not contaminated by antiseptic or disinfectant and use immediately after reconstitution. Store at 2-8 C, protect from light and do not freeze.

vetman score 7.9/10 Good
Evidence confidence: High Georgia: Yes, veterinary · № 339-11 · Verified on 21 Oct 2026

A good, transparent EU-authorised core vaccine whose two-serogroup leptospirosis cover is narrower than current four-serogroup options. Fine where Canicola and Icterohaemorrhagiae are the main concern.

Regulatory and scientific credibility9.0/10

The exact presentation is registered in Georgia (339-11) and has a current EU authorisation and SPC in the Union Product Database.

Clinical efficacy7.0/10

The live core antigens are well supported with two-yearly core boosting after the first year, but leptospirosis cover is limited to two serogroups and a six-month leptospiral booster is advised in high-risk areas.

Safety and tolerability8.0/10

Mild immediate pain, swelling up to 4 cm for a few days and rare hypersensitivity are labelled; the SPC permits use during pregnancy.

Clinical practicality7.5/10

Two doses four weeks apart from 7 weeks, a third after 16 weeks when maternal antibody is likely, then yearly or six-monthly leptospirosis boosting add visits.

Full-course cost-effectiveness-

No verified current Georgian price or patient-adjusted course cost was found; foreign prices were not substituted.

Important safety and use flags

  • Vaccinate only completely healthy dogs and deworm at least 10 days before vaccination.
  • Leptospirosis cover is limited to Canicola and Icterohaemorrhagiae; in high-risk areas the SPC advises a six-month leptospirosis booster.
  • If maternal antibody is likely and the primary course ends before 16 weeks, give a third dose after 16 weeks and at least three weeks after the second.
  • Mild pain or itching at injection, swelling up to 4 cm for 1-4 days and a small transient nodule can occur; exceptional hypersensitivity needs symptomatic treatment.
  • Decide use with other veterinary medicines case by case. Use sterile equipment free of antiseptic or disinfectant.
  • Store at 2-8 C, protect from light, do not freeze and use immediately after reconstitution.
