Pancreatic enzyme replacement is effective for canine EPI, but no study establishes an intact Mezym Forte 10 000 tablet dose, dissolution, target-animal safety or outcome. The canine RCT used a different enteric-coated capsule opened and mixed with food, while current guidance gives a powder dose in teaspoons. Neither formulation or dose unit can be transferred to the whole-only Mezym tablet, so numerical product axes would be invented.

The exact human product and its enzyme activities are well documented, and the veterinary therapeutic class is legitimate. The unresolved issue is product-level transfer: whole-only Mezym tablets cannot inherit efficacy or dose from powder, opened micropellet capsules, raw pancreas or unidentified products.
