Nobivac Tricat Trio

lyophilisate and solvent for injection, 1 ml dose for cats
Assessed clinical scopeCat · Full cat label: active immunisation against feline calicivirus, herpesvirus and panleucopenia with the labelled two-dose primary course and component-specific revaccination · Subcutaneous
Care settingPreventive feline vaccination with examination, cold-chain control, injection-site planning and emergency treatment available
vetman score 8.5/10 Very good
Evidence confidence: High Georgia: Yes, veterinary · № 41-11; 256-11 · Verified on 21 Oct 2026

A well-supported live feline core vaccine with clear component-specific durations. Its main limits are the non-sterilising nature of respiratory-virus protection and the need to adapt the kitten series when maternal antibody may outlast the label minimum.

Regulatory and scientific credibility9.0/10

The exact presentation is registered in Georgia and supported by a current SPC and regulator assessment documenting strains, quality, challenge efficacy, onset, duration and adverse reactions.

Clinical efficacy8.3/10

All three antigens are global feline core targets. Panleucopenia protection is strong and long-lived; FCV and FHV vaccination meaningfully reduces disease but not all infection or shedding, and the label course ending from 12 weeks may need extension through at least 16 weeks when maternal antibody persists.

Safety and tolerability8.2/10

The live attenuated vaccine has a favourable profile in healthy cats, with mostly transient local, respiratory or systemic reactions; very rare anaphylaxis remains important and pregnancy or lactation use is contraindicated.

Clinical practicality8.2/10

A fixed 1 ml SC dose, one reconstitution step and three-year FPLV interval are practical; annual FCV/FHV revaccination, cold chain and age-appropriate kitten-series planning remain recurring work.

Full-course cost-effectiveness-

Important safety and use flags

  • Vaccinate healthy cats only; do not use in hypersensitivity to a component.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or lactation.
  • Maternal antibodies can interfere through 9-12 weeks; plan a final core dose at 16 weeks or later when risk persists.
  • FCV and FHV vaccination reduces disease but does not reliably prevent every infection, carrier state or episode of shedding.
  • Very rare hypersensitivity or anaphylaxis requires immediate treatment; monitor local, respiratory and systemic reactions.
  • Do not mix with other veterinary medicines unless the exact combination is authorised; assess same-day use individually.
  • Maintain the cold chain, reconstitute only with the supplied solvent and use the full 1 ml dose promptly; do not freeze.
