Suspension · Dog Dog 1 ml (1 ml)
Aseptically reconstitute with the suspension, shake and immediately inject the entire 1 ml SC dose. The complete course requires Biocan DHPPi+L at 8-10 weeks followed 2-3 weeks later by DHPPi+LR, not before 12 weeks; repeat yearly. Vaccinate healthy dogs only. Antiparasitic treatment should precede vaccination by at least 10 days; avoid strenuous work for one week. Very rare hypersensitivity or a pea-sized local reaction lasting up to three weeks may occur. May be used in pregnancy, but avoid the final two weeks before whelping; lactation safety is not established. Other medicines require case-by-case assessment. Store 2-8 C, do not freeze, protect from light and use immediately after reconstitution.

Biocan DHPPi+LR

lyophilisate and suspension, 1 ml dose for dogs
Assessed clinical scopeDog · Full dog label from 12 weeks: annual all-in-one CDV, CAV, CPV, CPiV, three-serogroup leptospirosis and rabies immunisation after a Biocan DHPPi+L priming dose · Subcutaneous
Care settingPreventive veterinary vaccination of a healthy dog with examination, rabies certification where required and cold-chain control
vetman score 8.1/10 Very good
Evidence confidence: Medium Georgia: Yes, veterinary · № 109-11 · Verified on 21 Oct 2026

A very good, established all-in-one annual vaccine for settings that want rabies and leptospirosis in one injection. Newer four-serogroup, three-year-core products cover more leptospiral risk with fewer core boosters.

Regulatory and scientific credibility9.0/10

The exact presentation is registered in Georgia (109-11) and in Czechia since 2004 (97/016/04-C) with a current public SPC.

Clinical efficacy7.5/10

Live core antigens and inactivated rabies give useful protection with 14-day onset, but every component is labelled for one year only and the leptospiral fraction lacks the Australis serogroup that newer four-serogroup vaccines cover.

Safety and tolerability8.0/10

The label reports only very rare local or hypersensitivity reactions and permits use in pregnancy except the last two weeks before whelping.

Clinical practicality7.5/10

One annual 1 ml dose covers every component including rabies, but the puppy course needs a separate Biocan DHPPi+L dose 2-3 weeks earlier and the core antigens are boosted more often than modern guidelines require.

Full-course cost-effectiveness-

No verified current Georgian price or patient-adjusted course cost was found; foreign prices were not substituted.

Important safety and use flags

  • Give it from 12 weeks only after a Biocan DHPPi+L dose 2-3 weeks earlier; a single dose alone does not complete the label course for the non-rabies components.
  • The leptospiral fraction covers Icterohaemorrhagiae, Canicola and Grippotyphosa but not Australis; where Australis exposure matters, prefer a four-serogroup vaccine.
  • One rabies dose from 12 weeks is proven in the laboratory; before travel or in high-risk areas confirm the rabies titre or give a further dose.
  • Maternal antibody can interfere with the core response; finish the core series at 16 weeks or later when maternal antibody is likely.
  • Give antiparasitic treatment at least 10 days before vaccination and avoid strenuous exercise for a week after it. Observe for rare local or hypersensitivity reactions.
  • It may be used in pregnancy but avoid the last two weeks before whelping; safety in lactation is not established.
  • Store at 2-8 C, do not freeze and inject the whole reconstituted 1 ml immediately.
