A mature, strongly supported broad intestinal wormer for dogs within its exact label. Its high score assumes correct parasite selection, weight-based dosing and reinfection control rather than automatic calendar dosing for every dog.

The exact strength and presentation are actively registered in Georgia and supported by an exact HPRA SPC. The dossier is transparent, although its cited revision is older than the newest Tasty formulation label.

The three-drug combination has controlled and field evidence against susceptible canine intestinal nematodes and cestodes and the exact label covers adult and selected immature stages. It does not replace diagnosis, risk-based scheduling or intermediate-host control.

Adverse effects are very rare and usually mild/transient, with useful overdose tolerance. Piperazine and cholinergic combinations, pregnancy dosing, hypersensitivity, minimum weight and human Echinococcus risk still require safeguards.

Important safety and use flags

  • Do not combine with piperazine; avoid other cholinergic or unsupervised anthelmintic combinations because antagonism or toxicity can occur.
  • Weigh accurately, confirm the parasite target and follow the exact product weight band and schedule; do not underdose or reuse a calendar interval without risk assessment.
  • Control fleas, prey, scavenging and environmental faecal contamination; treatment alone does not prevent Dipylidium, Taenia or other reinfection.
  • Monitor vomiting, diarrhoea or loose stool, lethargy, anorexia or hyperactivity; reassess persistent signs and suspected treatment failure.
  • Do not use below 3 kg or in a patient with relevant hypersensitivity; this dog tablet has no feline label.
  • Consult a veterinarian before treating a pregnant bitch for roundworms and never exceed the stated dose; the exact label does not establish unrestricted pregnancy use.
  • Discard any unused tablet part. Use the labelled single dose or specifically stated repeat plan; do not improvise a prolonged course.

  • Critical Febantel (Dog)
    Do not use febantel-containing combinations during the first two-thirds of pregnancy because high doses caused teratogenic effects in several species. A single treatment during the final third or lactation may be used according to the product label; do not exceed the stated dose.
