Perfect Trio

100/15/20 mg/ml spot-on, 0.6 ml N3 for cats 2-4 kg
Assessed clinical scopeCat · Full labelled feline topical scope in the exact weight band: fleas, lice, biting lice, ticks and mites; gastrointestinal nematodes; Dirofilaria larval prevention · On the skin
Care settingVeterinary-selected home spot-on use after parasite identification and heartworm-risk assessment, with follow-up for established infestation or infection
vetman score 5.8/10 Weak evidence support
Evidence confidence: Medium Georgia: Yes, veterinary · № 000802 · Verified on 21 Oct 2026

Locally registered exact spot-on with a positive but small exact-product field study. It may be a situational broad-spectrum option after parasite selection, but its wide claims and safety margin are less securely documented than better-studied alternatives; prevent licking and use only in cats over 3 months and 2 kg.

Regulatory and scientific credibility6.0/10

The exact presentation is actively registered in Georgia, current official manufacturer instructions verify its composition and labelled use, and an exact-product peer-reviewed field study is available. However, no EMA/FDA-style public assessment, regulator-hosted SPC or transparent full dossier for this formulation was found.

Clinical efficacy6.0/10

A 2024 exact-product field study reported high efficacy in naturally infested dogs and cats against selected fleas, lice and mites, plus feline Uncinaria, with one-month follow-up. Each parasite group contained only seven animals, the comparator and blinding are inadequately reported, and many broad label targets and prevention claims were not tested.

Safety and tolerability5.0/10

The small field study reported no adverse effects, but it cannot establish a broad safety margin or detect uncommon events. The label prohibits use in pregnancy, lactation, kittens under 3 months, cats at or below 2 kg, and sick or convalescent animals; licking, overdose and concurrent macrocyclic-lactone exposure remain important concerns.

Clinical practicality6.5/10

A whole weight-banded pipette makes routine dosing straightforward, but treatment varies by target: one application, repeated 7-10-day courses for some mites, or monthly heartworm prevention. Correct skin placement, prevention of licking, bathing restrictions, ear examination when relevant and follow-up add meaningful clinical and adherence burden.

Full-course cost-effectiveness-

Price was not assessed and is excluded from the overall score.

Important safety and use flags

  • Do not use with hypersensitivity, in animals under 3 months or at or below 2 kg, or in sick, convalescent, debilitated or emaciated patients.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or lactation; the exact combination does not have an established reproductive safety margin.
  • Do not combine with another macrocyclic lactone or antiparasitic unless a veterinarian has checked active ingredients, intervals and cumulative neurotoxicity.
  • Prevent licking and separate treated animals until dry. Monitor for local irritation, hypersalivation, vomiting, depression, ataxia, tremor or other neurologic signs; wash off and assess promptly if they occur.
  • Apply the entire exact pipette directly to dry intact skin. Do not bathe for 3 days before or after treatment and avoid handling or contact with small children for 48 hours.
  • For ear-mite treatment, examine and clean the ear first and confirm tympanic-membrane integrity; complicated otitis requires separate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Heartworm use is prevention against susceptible larval stages, not adulticide treatment. Assess exposure and infection status and follow current species-specific guidance.
  • The exact-product study is small and does not validate every broad label claim. Confirm the parasite and reassess response rather than treating label breadth as proof of coverage.
  • Fipronil is highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates and the label states toxicity to fish and bees; prevent entry into surface water and dispose of pipettes responsibly.

Ivermectin: collies and related herding breeds with the MDR1 (ABCB1) deletion are sensitive to it. The heartworm-prevention dose (6 µg/kg) is tolerated; higher doses (the label: more than 16 times that) can cause dilated pupils, unsteadiness, tremors, coma and death. Give antiparasitic doses only to a dog tested MDR1 normal.
